01 联盟缘起|Genesis
北纬45度——横跨欧、亚、北美三大洲的“人类文明黄金走廊”，串联起世界最具活力的文化与科技资源，既是东西方文化交融的枢纽，也是气候、生态与城市发展的关键地带，承载着东西方文化交流与可持续发展的历史使命。
Situated along the 45th parallel north—an axis that stretches across Europe, Asia, and North America—the region is often referred to as the Golden Corridor of Human Civilization. This belt connects some of the world’s most dynamic cultural and technological centers, serving both as a vital conduit for East–West cultural exchange and a key zone for addressing climate, ecological, and urban development challenges. Its geographical significance underpins a broader historical responsibility: to promote intercultural dialogue and advance sustainable development through shared global efforts.
02 联盟简介|Overview
北纬45度创新设计与教育联盟（NLD&E 45）诞生于全球可持续发展与跨文化协作需求日益增长的时代背景下，由哈尔滨工业大学建筑与设计学院、都灵理工大学建筑与设计学院以及格拉斯哥美术学院创新与技术学院联合发起。
The North Latitude 45°Design & Education Alliance (NLD&E 45) was co-founded by the School of Architecture and Design at Harbin Institute of Technology , the Department of Architecture and Design at Politecnico di Torino , and the School of Innovation and Technology at the Glasgow School of Art , in response to rising global demands for sustainable innovation and cross-cultural collaboration.
联盟是基于跨文化创新设计与教育研究理念而建立的非营利性、非政府性、国际学术合作组织，旨在通过跨洲际的协同合作，积极应对气候适应、文化交流、可持续发展与自然生态治理等全球性挑战，推动创新设计教育与研究范式的变革，服务于全球人类社会的可持续未来。
NLD&E 45 operates as an independent, non-profit, and non-governmental academic consortium grounded in a shared commitment to advancing interdisciplinary innovation in design and education. By fostering intercontinental cooperation, the Alliance seeks to address pressing global challenges—such as climate adaptation, cultural integration, sustainable urbanism, and ecological resilience. Its overarching goal is to explore new paradigms of collaborative innovation and to contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive, and intelligent global future.
